"Memo of published work - books - now here Dec/82". Rough list of books. Wrapped round this list is a letter which is a note from Joseph Hooker about being glad that he is in England. Hodgson has used the reverse to make notes regarding return of a book to Hooker in 1868. Handwritten, 2 pieces, 4 sides, dated 1868-1882.

List on Indian paper written in [Nepali] of items left by Hodgson at his home, Brianstone, Darjeeling, in January 1858, with title in English and each page initialed by Hodgson. Handwritten on 3 large pieces of paper, dated January 1858.

Title page gives name of work as "Essay the First: Kocch, Bódo and Dhimál Tribes in Three Parts. Part I - Vocabulary, Part II - Grammar, Part III - Location, Numbers, Creed, Customs, Condition, and Physical and Moral Characteristics of the People". This work is heavily annotated by Hodgson, possibly a proof copy in which he is writing corrections. Printed bound book with handwritten material, 1847.

"Hodgson's Himalayan Ethnography in 3 fascicles - presented to the Library of the Royal Asiatic Society by the author." "Comparative Vocabulary of the Languages of the broken Tribes of Népal". The book covers many of the dialects of the region. The book begins with a letter from Hodgson explaining that he is sending four series of Vocabularies of Himalayan tongues divided into 2 parts. This copy is annotated by Hodgson and also contains a loose leaf of manuscript. The book is 270 pages and is dated 4 October, 1857. Printed bound book with handwritten annotations. (Some of the items in BHH/6 correspond to this printed material).
