              "An Early Buddhist Civilization in Eastern Siam" by H.G. Quaritch Wales, reprinted from the Journal of Siam Society, XLV:1, April 1967, pamphlet. The pamphlet contains an inserted letter and carbon data report from the Research laboratory, British Museum, to Quaritch Wales concerning dating of specimen BM41 Muang Phet Eastern Siam, 26 June, 1959.

              Album, hardcover, black, labelled "Extracts & Cuttings Volume II, Bangkok 1927" containing newspaper cuttings, B/W photographs and invitations; includes news of birth and presentation of white elephant. It includes the letter from King Rama VII inviting Quaritch Wales to court dinner dances on 1st January 1924 and 26 February 1926; a letter to ask Quaritch Wales to join the Coronation day on 12 November 1925 and to join the lunch at Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall. Contains also news regarding the white elephant from 14-17 November 1927. Some articles have been cut from the album and some photographs removed.

              The manuscripts are mainly concerned with Hutchinson's work, including 1688 Revolution in Siam: the memoir of Father de Bèze (published in 1968); Foot Soldiers of the Honble Company in Java and Celebes; "Phaulkon's House at Lopburi" (published in 1972); and Constantine Phaulkon (1647-1688). There are other manuscripts by Hutchinson as well as those by other writers, such as, Erik Seidenfaden (1881-1958).
