Internal correspondence concerning the use of the premises at Queen's Gardens. These are:

• Correspondence from Godfrey Goodwin to Dennis Duncanson concerning the changes that may be needed to Queen's Gardens, handwritten and typed, dated 18 September [1987].
• Report from Godfrey Goodwin, Librarian, to the Director concerning the Library and its collections, handwritten, dated 26 September 1987.
• Quotations for Library Shelving, typed with annotations, undated.

Report from Morton-Smith & Co., Chartered Surveyors, concerning water penetration through roof leakages into the property. Four page report with accompanying 10 colour photographs.

In 1995, it was discovered that significant repairs were needed to the premises. These papers include correspondence predominantly between the Royal Asiatic Society and Giles Quarme, Chartered Architect, architectural plans for proposed changes, and reports concerning the work and its financial implications.

In 1999 there was some issue concerning the party wall between 60 and 61 Queen's Gardens. This material consists of the surveyors' declaration, dated 10 June 1999,Schedule of Inspection carried out on 20 January 1999, and photographs and plans of the property.

"Foxglove Developments Limited and Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland Deed relating to the reciprocal rights of escape at 59 and 60 Queens Gardens London W2". Signed deed produced by Gardner Weller Solicitors.

In 2003 the Royal Asiatic Society undertook to rent rooms to the Society for South Asian Studies. This material includes correspondence between the two Societies, and with the acting Solicitors, Gregory Rowcliffe Milners; draft agreements and an inventory of the contents of the rooms to be rented.
