Letter from T.L. Wilson & Co. to T.W. Rhys Davids to state that he had called at the office of W.H. Allen. His original letter had been placed with the Receiver and the solicitor suggests that the Society consider making a publishing agreement with another company as results of the liquidation have yet to be ascertained. On the reverse of the letter, in a postscript, an offer is made to attend a Council Meeting and a note about receiving a letter from the Receiver.

Letter from T.W. Rhys Davids to W.H. Allen to inform the Company that the Council of the Society has decided to withdraw their business. He also requests that the company return any copies of the Journal they still possess.

Letter from T.L. Wilson & Co. to T.W. Rhys Davids to inform that he has received the letter and authority duly signed but not the requested money. He therefore encloses the necessary forms for the Society to use regarding the bankruptcy of W.H. Allen & Co..
