Letter from Alexa Barrow to W.E.D. Allen to thank Allen for his letter and to write about the future prosecution of the soldier who "Killed" her father. Undated.

Letter from Alexa Barrow to W.E.D. Allen in which she thanks Allen for his letter and telegram. Skelton's library is to be valued and disposed of by Magg's Booksellers, she therefore asks about a note she has found of her father's which promises books to Allen. She suggests that Maggs takes these books to London with him for Allen to collect. Dated: 17 December 1970.

He writes to confirm about the books and to organise details of price and carriage. He also asks that if she finds any Papers of her father relating to Allen's Marco Polo manuscript that she might pass them to him. Dated: 6 January 1971.

This series consists of images collected by Allen for possible use in "The History of Georgian People" and some research notes. The book was published in 1932, so presumably the material was collated before this time.

111 images that Allen had collated from various sources, that could be used to illustrate the text of his "A History of the Georgian People". Some of these were reproduced in the final book. All black and white illustrations, mostly photocopies printed onto photographic paper. They depict scenes from Georgian history, characters such as Castelli ,and historic buildings.

Notes concerning the images, possible titles for those to be used within the book. Handwritten, 13 pieces, 14 sides, undated.

The Papers include correspondence with Wiiliam Claxton Peppé, lists of the finds, some plans of the site, and a draft of an article by Peppé published in the Journal of the Royal Asiatic Society, 1898, pp. 573-588. There is further allied material relating to the originals.

This series contains all the papers donated to the Royal Asiatic Society by Neil Peppé. There is correspondence with William Claxton Peppé, lists of the excavation finds, some site plans, and a draft of Peppé's article for the Journal of the Royal Asiatic Society.
