Letter from Richard Clarke, Secretary, to G.K. Typaldos, Royal Library, Athens, to inform him that the items he requests have already been sent to the Royal Library via the Greek Consulate at the end of December 1847. Typaldos had requested a copy of H.H. Wilson's Sanskrit dictionary but unfortunately there were no spare copies so the Royal Asiatic Society cannot help. (Found on page 81)

Letter from Mr Peal, Collector, to Captain R.P. Fulcher, Brighton, to remind Fulcher that when he came into the Royal Asiatic Society 'House' in December last, he owed 9 guineas, but was undecided whether to remain a member. He has not been heard from since. If he wishes to remain a member please could he pay the remittance of 12 guineas. (Found on page 82)

The Earl is thanked for his help in arranging the increased grant from the East India Company, in a motion moved by Sir Edward Ryan, sometime Chief Justice of Bengal. (Found on page 84)
