Correspondence from Henri L. de Mink, Managing Director, Inter Documentation Company, BV, The Netherlands, to Richard Pankhurst concerning the copying of Ethiopian Bibles.

  • Letter from Mink to Pankhurst to enclose photocopies of collections of printed Bibles and manuscripts. One piece, dated 12 October 1983. With this letter are photocopies of the relevant parts of 'Historical Catalogue of the Manuscripts of Bible House Library', 'A Bibliography of Scripture in African Languages' and a list of books in 'Agni, Akunakuna, Aladian, Amharic'.
  • Letter from Mink to Pankhurst to express his uncertainty regarding the usefulness of Bibles in various languages and to send a photocopy of the cards from Pankhurst's Ethiopian lists and suggests he checks it with the holdings at SOAS and the Royal Asiatic Society. One piece, dated 24 October 1983. The photocopy is with the letter.

Hodgson had consulted Mabel Bent's diaries but the Ethiopia ones were missing. They suggest other possible sources of information.
