• Congrès des Sciences Anthropologiques et Ethnologiques. Règlement Général - List of Articles concerning the purpose and regulation of the Congresses. Written in French.
• International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences. Letter to invite attendance at the Congress. It describes the History and Organisation of the Congress, the Date and Place of the London Session and the Sections of the Conference. It asks for subscriptions for membership at the Congress and is signed by the British members of the Permanent Council and the British National Secretaries.
• Congrès des Sciences Anthropologiques et Ethnologiques. Letter to invite attendance at the Congress with a list of the President, Committee of Honour, Bureau and Permanent Council. Also an Application Form for Membership of the Congress. Written in French.

• Letter from T.A. Joyce, Chairman, and John L. Myres and Alan H. Brodrick, Honorary Secretaries, International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, to The President, Royal Asiatic Society, to invite him to the be one of the Vice-Presidents for the first session of the International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences. Dated 4 July 1933.
• Letter from John Myres, Honorary Secretary, International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, to The Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society to inquire as to why there had been no reply from the President, as they wished to print a list of the Vice-Presidents. Undated.
• Letter from E.D. Maclagan, President, Royal Asiatic Society, to Colonel Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to send his reply to the International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences. He writes about his successful fishing. Dated 18 July 1933.
• Letter from E.D. Maclagan, President, Royal Asiatic Society, to John Myres to apologise for his tardy reply and to state that the President of the Society would be happy to be a Vice-President at the Congress, though as his Presidency would finish in May, it would be the next President that undertook the role. Dated 18 July 1933.
• Letter on behalf of H.G. Beasley, International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, to Colonel Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to thank him for sending a list of the Fellows of the Royal Asiatic Society. Dated 9 July 1934.
• Letter from the Earl of Onslow, President, International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, to The Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to send his thanks for the Society's support of the Congress. Dated 9 October 1934.

• "International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, Second Session, Copenhagen, 1938, Under the patronage of H.M. the King of Denmark and Iceland, Second Circular". Printed pamphlet detailing information about the Congress, the provisional programme, sections, excursion and including a form for Application for Membership at the Conference. Printed material.
• Letter from H.J. Braunholtz and M.L. Tildesley, British National Secretaries, International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, to remind about the forthcoming Congress and to ask to be informed as to whether the recipient would be attending and wishing to submit a paper or make proposals concerning the future of the Congresses. Typed, dated 23 May 1938.
• Letter from Colonel Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to the National Secretaries, International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, to inform that Professor J.L. Myres would represent the Society at the next Congress, that he will not be reading a paper, nor did the Society have any suggestions regarding the Congress. Typed, dated 7 June 1938.

• Letter from Wilhelm Koppers, Secretary, and Robert Heine-Geldern, Vice-President, International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, to The President, Royal Asiatic Society, to ask the Society to nominate a delegate for the Congress. Dated 21 February 1952.
• Letter from Robert Heine-Geldern to Sir Richard Winstedt to send an official invitation for the Congress. He also writes about his pleasure in having met Sir Richard. Dated 21 February 1952.
• Letter from Secretary to Gentlemen of the Royal Asiatic Society to state that the Organising Committee of the 4th International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences has asked the Society for delegates at the Congress. He names H.G. Quaritch Wales and J.V. Mills as delegates who are already appointed. Dated 2 July 1952.

"The VII International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences Preliminary Announcement". A letter from Seiichi Izumi and Hisashi Suzuki, Organizing Secretaries, to announce the forthcoming meeting of the Congress in Tokyo and Kyoto from 3-10 September 1968. Dated October 1966.

Correspondence concerning the Second Turkish Linguistic Congress held in Istanbul on 18th August 1934. These are:

• Letter from The Counsellor, Turkish Embassy, London, to the Royal Asiatic Society, to inform them of the enclosed communication received from the Secretary of the Society for the Investigation of the Turkish language. Typed, dated 26 July 1934. With this letter is the notification of the Second Linguistic Congress to be held in Istanbul under the aegis of the Gazi Mustafa Kemal, Founder and Protector of the Society for the Investigation of the Turkish Language, typed document.
• Letter from Col, Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to The Counsellor, Turkish Embassy, to thank for his letter, and to note that though the matters are of great interest to the Society, the deadline for applying for participation is already passed. Typed, dated 30 July 1934.
• Letter from Col Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to Professor Margoliouth to state that he will send the information regarding the Congress to Mr Clauson, Sir Oliver Wardrop, Mr Guest and Mr Ellis. There is a further note to state that Margoliouth replied that he had no further remarks to make. Handwritten, dated 30 July 1934.
• Letter from The Counsellor, Turkish Embassy, London, to the Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society to inform him that it would still be possible for Members to participate if they could inform him at the earliest possible convenience. Typed, dated 31 July 1934.
• Letter from Col Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to Sir Oliver Wardrop to send the information regarding the Congress and ask him to send it on to Mr Clauson, Mr Ellis and Mr Guest. The letter has notes to state that it has been forwarded. Handwritten, dated 3 August 1934.
• Letter from R. Guest to Mr Ellis to forward the information as requested and to express his regret at not seeing Ellis at the British Museum. Typed, dated 6 August 1934.
• Letter from Dr Joseph de Somogyi to Col. Hoysted, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to thank him for sending the communication concerning the Second Turkish Linguistic Congress and to return it for the Society's Papers. Handwritten, dated 23 October 1934.

Three items connected with the International Congress of Geography in Warsaw held on the 25-31 August 1934 under the auspices of the International Geographical Union. These are:

• First Circular for the International Congress with a letter from Stanislaw Pawlowski, General Secretary, and Eugenjusz Romer, inviting participants to the Congress. The circular also covers Terms of the Congress, the Themes of the Meetings, and Excursions. A handwritten annotation notes "Resolved on 12.10.33 not to nominate a representative".
• Bulletin D'Adhésion for the Congress for becoming a Member of the Congress, taking part in the discussion, and taking part in the excursions. Printed in French.
• Second Circular for the International Congress giving further information about the Congress, the subjects for discussion and the excursions.
