Letter from Edwin Norris, Secretary, to Colonel Melvill to inform him that, at present he is a non-resident member and therefore owes 2 guineas for the year 1858/9. Letter from Edwin Norris, Secretary, to Dr Alishan, Armenian Mekhitarist Society of St. Lazar, Venice, concerning a number of Journals sent by the Royal Asiatic Society to Venice which have gone astray. Dr Alishan is requested to give an alternative address to which they can be entrusted. The Royal Asiatic Society received a copy of the Society of St Lazar's 'General Geography' last November. If 'official thanks' have not been received, please accept them now for what is 'a large contribution to the literature of your country'. (Found on page 249)
