Letter from Terence Gray to W.E.D. Allen in which Gray puts a number of questions to Allen regarding the genealogy of various Georgian dynasties which Allen had studied extensively in his books. Gray asks about the lineage in reference to other scholars' genealogical division of this period of Georgian history. Gray had also attached a genealogical tree he had drawn up based on information included in Allen's work inquiring about its accuracy. This includes specific references to various pages in Allen's books on the genealogy and history of Georgian royalty. Dated: 4 November 1957.

Allen in which Gray attempts to get Allen to withdraw his rejection to joining the committee on Georgian history, Gray tells Allen of Toumanoff's failings in his assessment of the genealogical system of succession. Gray also reaffirms that the committee needs a historian with Allen's knowledge. Finally, he includes a few questions regarding the history of early Georgian dynasties. Dated: 9 May 1958.
