The Royal Asiatic Society has produced a Journal from the early years of its formation and continues to do so. This material covers the records made in the production, administration and distribution of the Journal.

An agreement between Inter Documentation Company AG, Switzerland, and the Royal Asiatic Society to create Microfiche copies of the Journal of all back issues up to three years prior to the date of the contract.

At various points in its history, the Royal Asiatic Society has entered into agreements for reprinting, reproduction and distribution of its Journal as well as sales of excess copies and offprints. This series contains the associated administrative documents including agreements and correspondence with publishers and distributors.
