Copy letter from Yumjao Singh to Christopher Gimson to say that the three folios from the Manipuri manuscript are part of a treatise on Shibika, a book on astrology. He writes about the classification of the work and about the subject. He further writes about the history of European arrival in Manipur and asks if Pettigrew could procure more information for him. Typed, dated 9 July 1937.

This is likely item 3 listed In Mrs Pettigrew's letter dated 26 May 1943, being 'an arrangement of the material collected on the Archaic Manipuri in rough draft for the proposed Monograph on the subject' done by William Pettigrew and Yumjao Singh together.
