Haas reports that he had a long talk with Rita Pankhurst (née Eldon) who was in agreement with him. On the reverse of this letter are handwritten lists of novels, including authors, title and date published. Authors include Denys Jones, Victor Canning and James A. Brown.

She includes copies of the frontispiece of the catalogue, 'English Drawings Stuart and Georgian periods in the Collection of His Majesty to King at Windsor Castle' by A.P. Oppé and the relevant page concerning the Bruce material. Three pieces, dated 12 March 1981.

Correspondence from Henri L. de Mink, Managing Director, Inter Documentation Company, BV, The Netherlands, to Richard Pankhurst concerning the copying of Ethiopian Bibles.
- Letter from Mink to Pankhurst to enclose photocopies of collections of printed Bibles and manuscripts. One piece, dated 12 October 1983. With this letter are photocopies of the relevant parts of 'Historical Catalogue of the Manuscripts of Bible House Library', 'A Bibliography of Scripture in African Languages' and a list of books in 'Agni, Akunakuna, Aladian, Amharic'.
- Letter from Mink to Pankhurst to express his uncertainty regarding the usefulness of Bibles in various languages and to send a photocopy of the cards from Pankhurst's Ethiopian lists and suggests he checks it with the holdings at SOAS and the Royal Asiatic Society. One piece, dated 24 October 1983. The photocopy is with the letter.
Correspondence concerning the preparation of the translation of the Goğğam chronicle.
