These papers of Dennis Duncanson, dating from 1965 to 1976 are comprised of several manuscripts from his book, 'Government and Revolution in Vietnam ' (1968, OUP), as well as draft manuscripts from his other works. The collection also contains a variety of correspondence with academic organisations, personal friends, colleagues and professional acquaintances; review clippings of his book and newspaper cuttings on Vietnam.

This series contains drafts and copies of publications and papers written by Duncanson and others, including drafts of 'Government and Revolution in Vietnam' and 'The rise of the Indochina Communist Party'.

There are also reading list, library cards, notes and related correspondence.

A paper entitled 'Une solution pour le probleme du Vietnam'. Also a letter from C.M. MacLehose to Duncanson to return the paper given to Duncanson by Colonel Hoang-van-Lac of the Ministry of Revolutionary Development.

• Photocopy of 'The Manifesto and Platform of the Viet-Nam Lao Dong Party' founded at a National Congress held in North Vietnam in February 1951. This was included in a Supplement to People's China, Vol. III, No. 9, May 1, 1951.
• Typed copy of a telegram of the Lien Viet National Committee to the Executive Committee of the Soviet Communist Party and to the Government of the Soviet Union, dated 14 March 1953 concerning the death of Stalin.
• 'Note on the Viet-Minh Movement', typed, dated 1 November 1951
• Typed notes in French connected to Brimmell, 1959; Honey, 1963, Fall, 1956; and Vietnam Research Documents and Notes, Saigon, 1968: No 37, item3, p.6.
