Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose Luzac's account of sales. He also informs Storey that he is looking for suitable stock in which to invest the Trust's surplus money. He asks if Storey has heard anything of Nicholson as Raynes had heard from his wife that he was going into hospital for a severe operation. A copy of the Luzac account is with the letter.

He informs that his Brokers have purchased some Guardian Investment Trust Debenture Stock. He also writes that Nicholson seems very frail and therefore asks Storey to sign a cheque for £1000 so Raynes will not have to trouble Nicholson for each separate purchase.
