Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform Storey that as the balance in the Bank stood at £885, he had suggested to Nicholson that a further £500 of 3% Redemption Stock be purchased. He asks for Storey's assent to the purchase.
Sin títuloLetter from C.A. Storey to W.L. Raynes to state his agreement to the purchase of the stock. He also writes concerning publication stock left at Dow & Lester and wonders whether Cox and Allen will be able to undertake the work declined by Heffer (binding). He writes that the printing of Professor Minorsky's publication has reached an advance stage and presumes Heffer will need the 500 facsimiles of the Persian text to bind with Minorsky's translation and commentary. These were prepared by Mr R.B. Fleming of London who may possibly still have them. He asks Raynes to ask Nicholson where they might be.

Sin títuloLetter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose the firm's account in connection with the proof of death of Ellis in various Trust Accounts. This includes the purchase of the Redemption Stock for which he needs Storey's signature on the cheque. He also writes that some of the stocks are now solely in Professor Nicholson's name and suggests that Storey's and Professor Arberry's names are added as they are resident in this country. A copy of the account is with the letter.
Sin títuloLetter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform him that in consequence of Ellis' death certain investments are now solely vested in Nicholson. Nicholson agrees, that since Levy is not in England that Arberry and Storey's names should also be added to the investments. Raynes asks to Storey's consent to this.
Sin títuloLetter from C.A. Storey to W.L. Raynes to state that he would prefer the investments to stand in the names of Gibb (who is in Oxford) and Arberry as they are both younger than him and likely to hold the stock for a prolonged period. He also writes concerning a Minute Book that Ellis brought to meetings which must contain information of interest for the Trustees. He wonders if it could be obtained from the Executors.
