              Cutting from The Staffordshire Sentinel with the article,"Remarks on the Inhabitants of the Taral at the Foot of the Himalayas by Mr J. Barnard Davis (Read at the recent Meeting of the British Association, at Aberdeen, before Section E)". The article describes the area and its people. Hodgson's has added "Author of Crania Britannica" to the cutting. Date 1 October 1859.

              Also included within this Collection are correspondence concerning the acquisition of the material by the RAS and some supplementary material regarding Oscar Eckenstein, its original collector.
