Diagrams of the Ajanta caves, general scale 30ft to an inch. There are also notes on damage/deterioration, tracings of painted inscriptions and inscribed 'modern' names.

The documents consist of Rough lists of the Cave paintings, an extract from the London Illustrated news, rough notes on the paintings, and notes on some of the inscriptions at Ajanta.

A transcription of Fergusson's description of the Ajanta Caves ('Rock Cut Temples') and commentary notes made by A. A. West. Also included are 3 architectural drawings of pillars and a floor plan of Vihara No.11.
