The sub-series contains 12 numbered notebooks with Gogerly's translations of various jātaka stories. It seems that the collection is not complete as some of the notebooks are missing. In Theravāda Buddhism, the jātakas (c. 4th century BCE) are a textual division of the Pāli Canon, included in the Khuḍḍaka Nikāya ('Minor Collection') of the Sutta Piṭaka - the second group of the Pāli collection of Buddhist writings. The term mainly refers to the stories of Gautama Buddha's previous lives, in both human and animal form.

Two Sinhala translations of plays by Hannah More. These are "Moses in the Bulrushes - A Sacred Drama" and "The naudagum, or, Drama of Joseph". These were probably commissioned by Alexander Johnston.

This series contains Gogerly's translations of different Theravāda Buddhist suttas. During his lifetime, Gogerly translated around twenty of them. This literary corpus refers to ancient and medieval canonical scriptures many of which are regarded as records of the oral teachings of Gautama Buddha.

A letter of correspondence from T.W. Arnold addressed to Miss Charlotte Hughes, the Secretary and Librarian at the RAS, concerning the possible identification of Gogerly translations at the India Office. He suggests that Gogerly gave some of his translations to Monsieur Grimblot to bring from Ceylon. Written on October 5, 1907. The manuscript is an index of words and subjects from Gogerly's translation of the Vibhaṅga. The manuscript consists of 10 loose double sheets numbered from 1 to 22. Written by an unknown author; date and place unkown. The words and subjects are listed in columns on the first and third pages of each double sheet. The Vibhaṅga is a Theravāda Buddhist scripture included in the Abhidhamma Piṭaka. It is known as an analysis of mind. 32.5cmX21cm.
