In 1922 the Société Asiatique celebrated its centenary. Material connected with this is:

• Letter from Émile Senart to request the presence of a delegate at the centenary celebration from 10-13 July 1932. Printed in French, dated 1 May 1922.
• Letter from the Bureau of the Société Asiatique concerning the double celebration of the centenary of the Société Asiatique and the centenary of the discovery of "Champollion". Printed in French, undated.
• Advertisement for "Le Livre du Centenaire (1822-1922)" - a publication produced for the centenary of the Société Asiatique. Typed in French, undated.

In 2022 the Société Asiatique celebrated its bicentenary. Material connected with this is:

• 'D'un centenaire à l'autre: la Société Asiatique de 1822 à 2022', Programme for an international conference held in honour of the Society's bicentenary from 27-28 January 2022. Computer printed paper, written in French, 4 pieces.
• Medal to celebrate the bicentenary of the Société Asiatique. One side features a rising sun with the words 'Bicentennaire de la Société Asiatique, 1822-2022', and the reverse bears the portraits of Antoine Silvestre de Sacy, Ernest Renan, Émile Senart and Paul Pelliot. The medal is 8 cm in diameter and is housed within a presentation case. The medal was presented to the Royal Asiatic Society by Professor François Déroche on the occasion of his lecture, 22 November 2023, as part of the Royal Asiatic Society's bicentenary celebrations.

Digital photographs of early correspondence between the Société Asiatique and the Royal Asiatic Society. There are 24 images of 12 letters. With the images is a copy of an email from Jean-Michel Mouton to Alison Ohta, Director, Royal Asiatic Society, explaining about the photographs, dated 22 April 2022.

This Series contains 52 letters between Thomas Manning and his father, William Manning, Rector of Diss. These date from 1785, when Thomas was a child on holiday, until 1810, the year of William Manning's death There are a further 5 letters between Thomas Manning and other family members.

In 1938, l'Institut d'Histoire de l'Émigration Politique Contemporaine celebrated the 750th anniversary of the death of the Georgian poet, Chota Roustaveli. This correspondence and printed material are in connection with that celebration. They are:

• Letter from The President, Institut d'Histoire de l'Emigration Politique Contemporaine, to the Royal Asiatic Society to inform them of the celebration, of the Organising Committee, and of associated names and activities. He asks if the Society will consent to send a representative. Typed with printed letterhead, dated 29 January 1938.
• "Institut d'Histoire de l'Émigration Politique Contemporaine" - printed pamphlet concerning the Committees of the Society and its activities.
• Letter from Royal Asiatic Society to l'Institut d'Histoire de l'Émigration Politique Contemporaine to state that Sir Oliver Wardrop would be the Society's representative upon the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the death of the Georgian Poet, Chola Roustaveli. Typed with printed letterhead, dated 18 February 1938.
• Postcard from Sir Oliver Wardrop to the Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to state that the ceremony has been postponed until 30 March 1938. Handwritten, dated 20 February 1938.

"Description du Tubet, Traduite partiellement du Chinois en Russe par Le P. Hyacinthe Bitchourin, et Du Russe en Francais Par M.***; Soigneusemet Revue et Corrigee sur L'original Chinois Completre et Accompagness de Notes Par M. Klaproth, Membre des Societes Asiatiques de Paris, de Londres et de Bombay". This book was published by L'Imprimerie Royale, Paris in 1831. On the front cover Klaproth has written "A Monsieur Manning avec les compliments de l'auteur". With the book is a paper bag in which it has been kept by the family on which is written (not in Manning's hand) "Klaproth's Description du Tubet, Presented to T.M. by the author".

The Programme for the Tenth International Conference of Ethiopian Studies held at the Palais de l'UNESCO, Paris from 23-26 August 1988, along with some abstracts and papers from the Conference. Some of these exist as individual items, others have been stapled together to create books of abstracts.
