Correspondence and administrative papers concerning Kejariwal's research fellowship. These are:

• Letter from Phil [Cyril Philips] to Frank Steele, President, Royal Asiatic Society, concerning the request of Professor Kejariwal to meet Steele and to discuss his research. Handwritten, 1 piece, dated 5 March 1990.
• Correspondence between Frank Steele and O.P. Kejariwal concerning the possibility of the Royal Asiatic Society funding his research. Two letters, handwritten, dated 21 March and 10 April 1990.
• 'Paper for the Council Meeting of 12 April 1990: Grant to Professor O.M. Kejariwal' written by Franke Steele with additional information concerning proposed expenditure, biographical data and proposal entitled 'British Historiography on India in the nineteenth century'. Typed, 9 pieces, dated 2 April 1990.
• Correspondence between Frank Steele, O.P. Kejariwal and A.D.H. Bivar, President, Royal Asiatic Society, concerning the amount that the Society may be willing to provide, and the reasons for the subsequent delay in Kejariwal's reply and whether there is still the possibility of being funded by the Society.
