Historia biográfica

Stuart N. Wolfenden was a linguist and scholar in Tibeto-Burman dialects. He joined the Royal Asiatic Society in 1928 and his book Outlines of Tibeto-Burman Linguistic Morphology was published by the Society in the Prize Publication Fund Series in 1929.

Letter from Stuart N. Wolfenden to William Pettigrew to say that he sympathsizes with Pettigrew in the difficulty in getting material sent from India. He asks if Pettigrew would consider contributing an article to the Journal of the Royal Asiatic Society. He further writes of the origin of the archaic alphabet and his plans of visiting England and Manipur. Typed, dated 17 November 1936.
