              Correspondence with the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, India, regarding the obtaining of articles from past copies of the Journal for the Library, dated 24 August 1979-13 December 1979. With the correspondence is a list of articles annotated to mark which articles are required by the Library. The Society was not able to conform to the whole request but sent offprints of some articles and suggested the Library obtain a microfiche of the Journals from the Inter Documentation Company.

              Correspondence between the Royal Asiatic Society and Fine Books Oriental concerning a catalogue for the offprints of the Society's Journal. The file contains both agreements and correspondence between the two parties as well as internal communication within the Royal Asiatic Society and administrative documents concerning preparation for a launch party for the catalogue. The correspondents include Valery Gibson and Gordon Calver for the Royal Asiatic Society and J.I. Somers for Fine Books Oriental. During this period Fine Books Oriental came under the Luzac's umbrella but continued to act independently.

              • Letters from RAS Secretary to Messrs. Wilson Freeman concerning the termination of the agreements with Luzac & Company Ltd. and Johnson Reprint Corporation, New York. There is a photocopy of an agreement signed between the Society and Johnson Reprint Corporation for reprinting early issues and volumes of the Journal, dated November 1959.
