Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose the firm's account in connection with the proof of death of Ellis in various Trust Accounts. This includes the purchase of the Redemption Stock for which he needs Storey's signature on the cheque. He also writes that some of the stocks are now solely in Professor Nicholson's name and suggests that Storey's and Professor Arberry's names are added as they are resident in this country. A copy of the account is with the letter.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform him that in consequence of Ellis' death certain investments are now solely vested in Nicholson. Nicholson agrees, that since Levy is not in England that Arberry and Storey's names should also be added to the investments. Raynes asks to Storey's consent to this.

Letter from C.A. Storey to W.L. Raynes to state that he would prefer the investments to stand in the names of Gibb (who is in Oxford) and Arberry as they are both younger than him and likely to hold the stock for a prolonged period. He also writes concerning a Minute Book that Ellis brought to meetings which must contain information of interest for the Trustees. He wonders if it could be obtained from the Executors.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform him that a letter concerning an amended stock holding had not been received and must have been lost or destroyed by enemy action. Barings have agreed to issue a new certificate but require the Trustees' bankers to join in Dr. Nicholson's indemnity. He asks for Storey's signature. He further writes whether Storey could examine some so-called odd parcels at Heffer's warehouse to see what they contain.
