Note
F. F. Arbuthnot read a paper on Nigaristan at the Society's General Meeting on 12 February 1895. It was recorded that 'The translation of the Nigaristan was prepared by the late Mr. E. Rehatsek from three copies of the work, which he compared and collated. One copy he,had in Bombay and the two others were sent to him from this country, one of them being a copy made from the manuscript in the British Museum, and the other a very correct and well written copy obtained from Mr. Quaritch.' See JRAS April 1895, pp. 439-447.
Note
In the Society's Persian manuscript collection there is a copy of Nigaristan donated by F. F. Arbuthnot (RAS Persian 352), which could have been the copy obtained from Mr Quaritch.
